The Swiss Ski Museum is a non profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of skiing in Switzerland, honoring the pioneers, ski equipment manufacturers, resorts, ski lifts, and much more all combined for the first time on one website. The wealth of knowledge and artifacts is made available to everyone through this virtual museum, which is accessible as the nearest computer.

THE TEAM

Pierre Schneider

SkiEO

Pierre Schneider is a passionate vintage ski collector who has been collecting for over 40 years. He has spent many years as  a professional Freestyle/Show skier & is currently SkiEO of antiqueskishop.com. He spends most of his free time restoring and researching vintage ski equipment.

Sam Bruchez

Designer

The newest member of Swiss Ski Museum is our designer, Sam Bruchez. Born and raised in the Swiss Alps, Sam is a passionate skier and climber. He studied graphic design at the École Cantonal d’Art de Lausanne (écal), and currently works as a freelance web designer in New York City. Some of his past clients include The North Face, HEAD.

Luzi was an avid ski collector & a director on the board of the International Skiing History Association. He was also the most read ski historian in Switzerland. Many of the articles on this site are from his many years of research.
